Who we are
This site is run by Leap of Faith Labs, registered in India as LOFL (OPC) Private Limited, a one-person company in Pune, Maharashtra. Write to explore@lofl.world. By reading, downloading or using anything here you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use the site.
Licence — what you may do with what we make
Everything we write and make on this site — the pages, the reports, the card decks, the kits, the Atlas plates — is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless the page says otherwise. That means you may copy it, change it, translate it, teach from it, print it, and sell what you make with it — as long as you credit us and release what you make under the same licence.
How to credit
Any wording that names us, links here and states the licence is fine. This does:
Leap of Faith Labs · explore.lofl.world · CC BY-SA 4.0 · changes: [what you changed]
Code
Reference code we publish is under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, unless the file says otherwise.
Exceptions — always marked where they appear
- LOFL-AIAS is CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, because it is a derivative of The AI Assessment Scale (Perkins, Furze, Roe & MacVaugh, 2024), which carries that licence.
- Wikipedia text in the Atlas plates is CC BY-SA and is cited beat by beat. It stays Wikipedia's.
- Government and regulator data — SEBI, CSR.gov.in, NITI Aayog and others — stays under its own terms. We cite it; we do not relicense it.
- Anything a page marks with a different licence carries that licence, not this one.
Not licensed: our name and mark
“LOFL”, “Leap of Faith Labs” and the sun-and-spectrum mark are trademarks. The Creative Commons licence does not cover them. Use the materials all you like, and say that you use them. Do not use our name or mark to suggest that we made, checked or endorsed something we did not — and do not call something a LOFL programme unless you follow the child safeguarding policy where children are involved.
Other people's sites
We link out — to sources, to Wikipedia, to regulators. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.
The reports are research, not advice
The Options Ledger, the Household Ledger, the CSR reports and everything under Reports are research. They are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and we are not licensed to give any. Do not buy, sell, trade or file anything on the strength of a page here. Talk to someone who is licensed and who knows your situation.
Every figure in a report sits beside its source and is graded by how directly we verified it — from L0, self-reported, to L3, checked through a regulated workflow. The grade is part of the claim. A figure marked “could not be sourced” is exactly that, and we publish it so you can see what is widely repeated without evidence.
If you find an error, write to us. We correct it on the page and leave a dated note saying what changed. We do not delete the mistake from the record.
Impact Units, badges and marks on this site are not money, not securities and not transferable. They have no cash value and are never described as financial instruments.
The tools
- The tools are educational. They are given as they are, without warranty, and they may change or be withdrawn — when one is retired, its address redirects and its record stays in the commons.
- They keep sets and tallies, not scores. Nothing a tool produces is an assessment of a person, and it must not be presented as one.
- The Social Commodities Explorer ends every path at “do not deploy”. That is the lesson, not a suggestion to try harder.
- You are responsible for how you use what a tool gives you, and for what you enter into it. Exports are files on your device, and yours.
- If you use a tool with children, the child safeguarding policy applies.
What you send us
When you send a trace, a Signal, a Sāṃvāda answer sheet, or an email you say we may publish:
- You confirm it is yours to give, and that no one is identified in it without their consent.
- You give us permission to publish it under CC BY-SA 4.0, edited for length, with personal details removed.
- You can withdraw at any time. Write to explore@lofl.world with “Withdraw” in the subject and it comes down. What others copied while it was up, we cannot recall.
- We publish what was said, never who said it, unless you ask to be named and we agree.
What happens to the personal details in what you send is in the privacy notice.
Using the site
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. Please do not:
- use the site, our name or our mark to impersonate us or to suggest we endorse something;
- collect the personal details of people named on the site — contributors, stewards, citizens who sent a trace — for any purpose;
- strip provenance, licences or credits from what you take;
- use the site or anything on it to harm anyone or to break the law.
Under 18? You are welcome here. Use the site with a parent, guardian or teacher. Our tools keep what you type on your device, so nothing about you reaches us.
Prices and paid work
Nothing on this site is sold through the site. Every price we charge is public — ask and we send it. Paid work — a diagnostic, a pilot, a batch of teachers, a report — runs under its own written agreement. Where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement wins for that work.
No warranty, and the limits of what we owe
The site and everything on it are provided as they are. We work carefully, and we say plainly what is verified and what is not, but we do not promise that the site is free of errors or always available. To the extent Indian law allows, LOFL (OPC) Private Limited is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or its contents, or from your reliance on anything published here. Nothing on this page limits any liability that the law does not let us limit.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute goes to the courts at Pune, Maharashtra. We would much rather talk first: explore@lofl.world.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Changes
This page is the record. Every change is dated below, and nothing is quietly rewritten. Using the site after a change means accepting the new version — so the change log is where to look.
Honest state: this is v0.1, written by the studio and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. If you see a gap, tell us.
Change log
- v0.1 · 28 September 2026 — first published version. Sets down the licence that the footer has stated since June 2026, the research-not-advice rule for the reports, and the terms for what people send us.
