The Lab

Things you can try

The working surfaces of the lab — small, honest tools that run in your browser, offline, keeping whatever you make on your own device — and the motion prototypes where choreography is locked frame-accurate before a licensed cut.

Tools you can actually use

Each opens in your browser and runs entirely offline — no accounts, no tracking, no backend. Sets and tallies, never scores; you press every mark.

Living Learning Kit

Pick a subject, draw a colour-lens, take a skill card, go outside, bring back one honest line — then press your own badge. Evidence-first: no evidence, no claim, no unit. Badges accumulate as a set, never a ranked score.

ter-bot

One hook, one suit-matched practice card, तर? — then silence until you return with a trace. Built to make you leave; success is time-to-exit. Traces join a set, never a streak.

Shabdayātrā

A diary of the words you went looking for. Record a word's journey or your refusal of it, stamp its origin, use a dictionary assist that points but never answers for you — then export one card, yours or the commons'.

Beliefs, the one thing on the clock, what's becoming real, what's parked with reasons — and the actual current ask for partners and funders. The honest one-pager, not a pitch.

Motion & interaction

Silent animatics

Frame-accurate prototypes — choreography locked by hand before a licensed cut or an AI motion tool touches it. The picture is the deliverable; audio stays out until it's cleared.

Marquee Thoughts

A frame-accurate shot script rendered live — lyric strikes, a building brick wall, a marquee ticker, and the prism hinge where the cut splits into its five thematic bands. Eight shots plus the jump to the prism, on demo pacing.

Any Colour You Like

The instrumental interlude as pure light and scrolling type — a spinning prism field, gradient title cards, and four colour-coded marquee bands drifting at their own speeds. Choreography for the moment before the words return.

How these are made

Hand-locked, then handed off

Each motion piece starts as a frame-accurate EDL and shot script. The choreography is built by hand first — timings, holds, and the exact beat where a lyric strikes or the prism breaks — so the structure is locked before any AI motion-design tool is applied on top. No audio is embedded: the Pink Floyd master isn't cleared, so the licensed track plays separately while the picture is eyeballed against the EDL reference in the corner.

The tools work the same way — build the honest structure first, decorate second. Placeholders are named as placeholders; nothing reads as more built than it is.

Want to build something honest?

Whether it's a tool, a program, or a piece choreographed — the lab runs on one principle: build the honest structure first, decorate second.
